Welcome to use the SandStar AI Vending Machine Client System (hereinafter referred to as "this System"). Prior to using any services provided by this System, please carefully read and understand this SandStar User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement"). By clicking to confirm this Agreement, you represent that you agree to and accept all the terms and provisions hereof. When you confirm all the service terms and complete the registration process, this Agreement shall be established and legally binding between you and this System; meanwhile, you shall become an official user of this System, and this Agreement shall constitute a legally enforceable document between you and SandStar. When using the services of this System, you agree to comply with the laws and regulations of the country or region where the services are accessed, as well as the laws of any country or region that has jurisdiction over you.
If you disagree with any of the terms of this Agreement, please do not click to confirm it. Should you have any questions about the content of this Agreement, you may consult the official customer service for explanations and clarifications. If you are a person without capacity for civil conduct or a person with limited capacity for civil conduct, you shall inform your legal guardian and read this Agreement and use our services under the guidance of your legal guardian.
The content of this Agreement includes the text hereof and all types of rules published on the service pages within the System, all of which shall have the same legal effect as the text of this Agreement. You expressly agree that we are entitled to revise this Agreement from time to time in accordance with changes in laws, regulations and policies and/or our operational needs, and to publish such revised version on the service pages. If you continue to use the Services after the publication of such revisions, you shall be deemed to have fully read, understood and accepted all the contents of the revised Agreement, and shall also abide by such contents when using the Services. If you disagree with any content of the revised Agreement, you may choose to cease using the Services.
To fully use the services, you may authorize us to collect relevant personal information (see the "Privacy Policy" clause of this Agreement for specific authorized information) for account registration subject to your approval. Basic registration information may includes phone number, email and etc. You warrant that the registration information provided by you is true, accurate, complete, legal and valid. You shall promptly update such information in the event of any changes thereto. After successful registration, you will obtain an exclusive and unique account on this platform. If any consumption behavior occurs due to the unauthorized use of your account by others caused by your own reasons, you shall bear the corresponding liability.
After successful registration, you may use this system to purchase goods from the AI Vending machines (hereinafter referred to as "placing an order"). You shall possess the legal capacity for rights and capacity for conduct required for purchasing the relevant goods. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use this system to make purchases under the supervision and participation of your parents or legal guardian. By placing an order, you are deemed to have met the aforementioned requirements.
A mobile phone number is not a mandatory requirement for basic registration, and you may choose whether to provide it on a voluntary basis:
To fulfill the services provided by this System, cameras are installed inside the vending machines. Therefore, your shopping activities will be recorded by the cameras and used by algorithms to identify the goods you purchase. Our AI algorithms will automatically blur your facial features to protect your privacy, such that your facial information will not be recorded or stored. However, if you do not agree to this, please refrain from proceeding with registration and making purchases.
Please carefully confirm the name, price, quantity, specifications and other details of the goods you intend to purchase when placing an order. Once you take the selected goods from the AI Vending Machine and close the cabinet door, your confirmation of the purchased goods shall be deemed complete, and the order shall be established and take effect immediately. Except in cases of product quality defects or system recognition errors, no refund shall be granted for the purchased goods. You acknowledge and agree that this System is entitled to directly deduct the corresponding payment for the purchased goods from the relevant fund account you have bound.
The services provided by this System consist of technical services for purchasing and settling payments for goods via AI Vending machines. Upon successful registration, you shall authorize this System to bind your associated fund accounts (including but not limited to Apple Pay, Credit Card and etc.). This authorization enables the System to automatically deduct the payment amount for your orders from your bound fund accounts when you make purchases via SandStar AI Vending Machines.
You may access our services through the following methods supported by the System:
In the course of using this System, you may concurrently access other third-party services, including but not limited to various payment platforms and operation services provided by cabinet operators. You acknowledge and agree that as the aforementioned services are not provided by SandStar, SandStar makes no warranty or representation regarding the accuracy, completeness, sufficiency or reliability of such third-party services, nor shall SandStar be liable for any issues arising therefrom. If you have any questions about the third-party services you use, please contact the relevant third parties for resolution.
Matters pertaining to your shopping experience such as the quality of goods in the AI Smart Vending Machines, price, supplementary deductions due to insufficient payment for goods, and display of commodity inventory are all initiated and controlled by independent third-party cabinet operators. Should any such issues arise, you shall contact the relevant operators for timely resolution. Upon the operator’s or your request, SandStar shall cooperate in providing data and technical support.
This System will provide corresponding value-added services based on the scope of user authorizations: If you authorize the provision of your mobile phone number or email, you may receive notifications such as order payment confirmation alerts, after-sales processing progress updates, new product launch notifications, and exclusive promotion recommendations. You may opt out of such notifications by replying with the keyword "Unsubscribe" or disabling them in the "Account Center - Message Settings" section on SandStar official website.
You shall shop in a safe and civilized manner, and shall not use your account on this Platform or the services provided by this Platform to conduct any of the following acts:
You understand and agree that, if you engage in any of the aforementioned acts in breach of these Terms, you may cause certain losses, including but not limited to losses to the hardware involved, losses to the retail goods, business losses arising from the inability to maintain normal operations due to hardware damage, as well as indirect losses incurred by the Operator, SandStar, and any third parties as a result of such acts. Once the Operator verifies such user conduct through the AI Smart Vending Machine Platform, the Operator shall be entitled to claim compensation for the actual losses incurred. The scope of such losses includes direct economic losses, fines paid to external parties, compensation payments, settlement amounts, attorney fees, litigation costs, and reasonable reputation damages.
If the Operator or SandStar suffers administrative penalties or losses due to the user’s misconduct, the user shall be liable for compensation. In the event of serious circumstances with adverse social impact, upon application by the Operator, this Platform shall have the right to suspend or terminate the user’s individual or all accounts registered under the same name, and reserve the right to pursue the user’s legal liabilities.
In respect of any act of refusing payment or pending payment, the Operator shall grant you a payment period of 7 calendar days. For any order remaining unpaid upon the expiration of the 7-calendar-day period, the Operator shall be entitled to collect payment from you through lawful means, and any adverse consequences or losses incurred by you in this regard shall be borne by you alone.
You understand and agree that, if any breach of these Usage Rules results in direct losses to the Operator or SandStar, the Operator/SandStar shall be entitled to directly deduct the amount of such losses from any payment account used by you for transactions via the AI Smart Vending Machines on this Platform, without requiring your further authorization or consent. If your aforementioned acts or any other conduct disrupts the normal operation of the AI Smart Vending Machine, causes harm to the personal safety of other users, or leads to equipment malfunction, you shall be liable for all losses arising therefrom. In the event of serious circumstances, the Operator or SandStar shall have the right to report the matter to public security authorities in accordance with the law, and reserve the right to pursue your relevant legal liabilities for all losses that the Operator, SandStar, other users and any third parties may suffer or have already sustained.
In the event of improper deduction, over-deduction, under-deduction or missed deduction during payment, upon verified confirmation by the system, the over-deducted amount will be refunded to your original payment account. Unless under special circumstances, the refund will be credited to your account within 24 hours. If you encounter improper deduction or over-deduction, please contact the Operator’s customer service within 5 days; failure to do so within the time limit may result in the inability to process the refund for the order. You agree that in case of under-collection or missed collection of payment, the Operator shall be entitled to deduct the actual deficit amount from you accordingly.
If you encounter any issues such as the cabinet door failing to close properly or the door failing to open after scanning the code, please contact the Operator’s customer service promptly. SandStar shall not be liable for any losses caused by force majeure, including but not limited to malfunctions due to uncontrollable factors, system failures of telecom operators, etc. SandStar shall bear no liability for any failure to complete transactions or loss of relevant information and records arising from the crash or malfunction of this system due to the aforementioned force majeure events or other causes beyond its control. Nevertheless, SandStar shall use its reasonable endeavors to assist in handling the follow-up matters and make every effort to prevent you from suffering economic losses.
Under no circumstances shall the total amount of compensation payable by SandStar to you exceed the actual payment amount you have made for the single affected transaction. If you discover that your user account has been used without authorization (including but not limited to unauthorized occupation or theft of your mobile phone number), you shall contact the customer service immediately. Please understand that we need a reasonable period of time to take action. Therefore, except where SandStar is at fault, SandStar shall not be liable for any consequences incurred prior to taking such action.
SandStar shall assume no liability for the quality, authenticity, completeness, and accuracy of the goods and inventory provided by the Operator, as well as all goods and data generated, initiated, and controlled by the Operator. Unless otherwise expressly stipulated in writing, all SandStar services, as well as all information, content, materials, products (including software) and other services contained in or otherwise provided to you through SandStar services, are provided by SandStar on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Unless otherwise expressly stipulated in writing, SandStar makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of SandStar services, or the information, content, materials, products (including software) or other services contained in or otherwise provided to you through SandStar services. You expressly agree that the entire risk arising from your use of SandStar services shall be borne by you alone. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SandStar disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
SandStar does not warrant that SandStar services, SandStar servers, or any information, content, materials, products (including software) or other services contained in electronic communications sent by SandStar or otherwise provided to you, are free of viruses or other harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SandStar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages arising from the use of any SandStar services, or from any information, content, materials, products (including software) or other services contained in or otherwise provided to you through any SandStar services, unless otherwise expressly stipulated in writing.
To further enhance your user experience, we will continuously update our services, including but not limited to providing version upgrades, function upgrades, rule upgrades and other service and content updates. This Agreement may also be revised from time to time in accordance with changes in applicable laws and regulations and/or operational requirements. All revised content shall take effect on the date of its announcement. If you continue to use the Services after the revised content is announced, such use shall constitute your full reading, understanding and acceptance of all the terms of the revised Agreement, and you shall abide by such terms in the course of using the Services. If you disagree with any of the terms of the revised Agreement, you shall have the right to terminate your use of the Services.
We shall be entitled to unilaterally terminate this Agreement without assuming any liability to you or any third party if any of the following circumstances occurs. We also reserve the right to pursue legal remedies for all losses incurred thereby:
Upon termination of this Agreement, unless otherwise expressly provided for by applicable law, we shall have no obligation to disclose any information in your user account to you or any third party designated by you. Following the termination of this Agreement, we shall still be entitled to the following rights: to continue storing all types of information in your account; and to pursue your outstanding liability for breach of contract in accordance with the terms of this Agreement in respect of any of your past breaches.
This Policy is intended to clarify how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information. Unless otherwise provided for by laws and administrative regulations, you shall have the right to know and right to decide in respect of our processing of your personal information, and shall be entitled to restrict or refuse the processing of your personal information by us or any other parties. Meanwhile, you shall have the right to request us to explain the rules governing the processing of your personal information provided to you.
We have formulated these Terms on the basis of and in accordance with laws and regulations including the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and the Personal Information Security Specification, so as to ensure the protection of your privacy rights and interests. Mobile Phone Number: Users may voluntarily choose whether to provide this information. If provided, it will be used for receiving order notifications, password retrieval, security verification, after-sales support, and delivery of marketing campaign notifications (which can be opted out of at any time). Users who choose not to provide this information may still access the same after-sales services via the online customer service channel. Email Address: Users may voluntarily bind an email address, which may be used for receiving service notifications and delivery of marketing campaign notifications (which can be opted out of at any time).
B. Transaction Information
Payment Information: We only record the type of payment method, payment time, transaction serial number, and payment amount. We do not store complete bank card numbers or payment account passwords. Payment information is transmitted to the payment institution through encrypted channels, and our servers do not store sensitive payment data. Order Information: This includes product name, specifications, quantity, price, order time, vending machine ID, payment status, etc. It is used for order management, after-sales processing, and resolution of transaction disputes.
C. Device Information
1. Sensor information: Camera: Activated only during code scanning payment and product identification, used for identifying the payment code presented by the user and the purchased products. Image data is transmitted in real-time with encryption and only used for function realization. After the completion of product identification, it is immediately destroyed and the original image is not stored; facial information is automatically blurred by AI algorithm and not recorded or stored.
2. Device identifier: Generates a unique device identifier through anonymization processing (such as hash value), used for distinguishing different user devices, optimizing interaction experience, and preventing account security risks, without associating with real identity information.
3. Basic device information: Including device model, operating system version, browser type, network type, etc., used for adapting to vending machine services, optimizing system performance, and troubleshooting technical faults.
D. Behavioral Information
Shopping behavior information: Including browsing history, records of items added to the shopping cart, purchase history, order frequency, etc. This information is used to optimize product recommendations and enhance service experience. Users may disable the personalized recommendation function at their discretion.
E. Miscellaneous
The collection and use of device permission information are necessary to comply with laws, regulations, normative documents and regulatory requirements, as well as to safeguard transaction security and achieve the purposes of collecting personal information. For different business functions you select, we will request your authorization to enable the corresponding device access permissions. When permitted by your mobile phone system, we will display a pop-up notification explaining the purpose and obtain your consent before enabling any permission. Your activation of these permissions constitutes your authorization for us to collect and process such information to provide the corresponding functions. You may revoke such authorizations through the relevant settings of your device; however, if you do so, we will no longer be able to provide you with the corresponding business functions. When you interact with services provided by SandStar’s partners, Cookies or anonymous identifiers may be transmitted to SandStar’s servers. You may choose to reject Cookies by adjusting your browser settings. Please note that if you opt to reject Cookies, you may be unable to log in to or use the relevant services or functions of this System that rely on Cookies.
We shall adhere to the principles of legitimacy, propriety, necessity and good faith, and use your personal information only within the scope of the collection purposes specified in this Policy, and shall not use such information beyond the scope directly relevant to the collection purposes. Based on the mobile phone number voluntarily provided by you, we may use it for the following purposes:
Retention Period of Personal Information: Personal information processed based on your authorized consent shall be retained until the achievement of the processing purposes, the complete cancellation/deletion of all account information by you, or the expiration of the agreed withdrawal period after you withdraw your consent; Personal information necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract shall be retained until the full performance of the contract and the expiration of the statute of limitations; Personal information necessary for the fulfillment of legal obligations shall be retained until the full fulfillment of such legal obligations and the expiration of the statute of limitations; Where laws, regulations, normative documents and regulatory requirements provide for different retention periods in respect of the above, such provisions shall prevail.
In principle, we shall store your personal information on servers located within the territory of USA. We will not provide any of your personal information to overseas entities unless the conditions and procedures specified by laws, regulations, normative documents and regulatory requirements are satisfied.
Data Encryption Protection: SSL encryption is adopted at the transmission layer to ensure the security of data during transmission; Payment-related information is transmitted exclusively to third-party payment institutions via encrypted channels, and we do not store complete sensitive payment data.
Risk Monitoring and Emergency Response: An emergency response mechanism for security incidents is established. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users via SMS/email/in-system notifications within 72 hours, specifying the time of the breach, types of information involved, remedial measures and preventive recommendations.
Compliance Certification and Audit: We have obtained the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System certification. Third-party institutions are regularly engaged to conduct penetration testing (at least once a year) and compliance audits, so as to continuously optimize the security protection system.
We shall conduct anonymization and de-identification processing on users' shopping behaviors, device information, service usage data and other relevant data to generate statistical analysis reports and consumption trend research data. Anonymization Standards: Remove or replace personal identity identifiable information such as name, mobile phone number, ID card number to ensure that the analysis results cannot be traced back to any specific individual. Purpose of Use: The processed data shall be used for optimizing the commodity allocation of vending machines, improving service workflows, enhancing system performance, developing new functions, etc., and shall not be used for any other commercial purposes.
Sharing: Specific Scope of Data Shared with Partners:
Compliance Requirements for Sharing: Sign a Data Security and Confidentiality Agreement with partners, clearly specifying the scope of information use, confidentiality obligations, data security safeguards and liability for breach of contract; Require partners not to use the shared information for any other purposes, and to delete all shared user information within 15 working days upon termination of cooperation; Ensure that all sharing activities comply with the provisions of applicable laws and regulations, and are conducted with your authorization or based on statutory justifications.
Transfer: Your personal information may be transferred only in the event of corporate merger, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy liquidation or similar circumstances. Prior to the transfer, we will notify you via vending machine screen announcements, SMS/email (to users who have voluntarily provided contact information) and other means at least 30 days in advance; The notification shall include the name of the transferor, the name of the transferee, the scope of information to be received and the applicable usage rules. You may apply for account cancellation and deletion of your personal information within 7 days upon receipt of the notification; The transferee shall continue to fulfill the information protection obligations stipulated in this Privacy Policy. We will not proceed with the transfer if there is no explicit agreement in place or if the transferee fails to commit to performing the corresponding obligations.

Right to Inquiry and Access: Offline Inquiry Channels: You may inquire about your personal information by calling the customer service hotline or visiting designated service outlets after completing identity verification. Our customer service representatives will assist with your inquiry upon verifying your identity. Customer Service Response Timeframe: Our human customer service team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. General inquiry requests will receive a response within 2 hours, while complex requests will be addressed within 3 business days.
2. Right to Correction: Should you find any inaccuracies or incompleteness in your personal information, you may independently correct basic information via "unregister.sandstar.com" on the SandStar website, or contact customer service to correct other information. We will verify and process your request within 1 business day.
3. Right to Deletion: You may independently delete certain personal information stored in your account (e.g., contact details, address, etc.). You may apply for the deletion of all your personal information if the following conditions are met: the account has no outstanding orders, no unsettled payments, and no unresolved after-sales disputes. Exceptions to Immediate Deletion: Pursuant to the requirements of the E-Commerce Law of the People's Republic of China, transaction records must be retained for a minimum of 3 years. During this retention period, such records will be restricted to use only for tax filing and dispute resolution and will not be shared with any third party. Where otherwise stipulated by applicable laws and regulations, such provisions shall prevail.
4. Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent to the collection, use and sharing of your personal information at any time, such as unbinding your mobile phone number or disabling personalized recommendations. Upon withdrawal of your consent, we will cease the collection and use of the relevant information. However, this shall not affect the validity of any information processing activities completed based on your prior consent. Certain core services (e.g., checkout and payment) rely on the collection of necessary personal information. Withdrawal of authorization for such necessary information may result in the inability to access and use these specific services.
5. Right to Account Cancellation: Cancellation Conditions: The account has no outstanding orders, no remaining balance or coupons (a refund must be claimed prior to cancellation if there is any remaining balance), and no unresolved after-sales disputes. Cancellation Procedures: App users may independently submit a cancellation request via "unregister.sandstar.com". Users of the AI Cooler shall call the customer service hotline and complete identity verification. Consequences of Cancellation: Upon cancellation, the system will immediately delete all associated personal information (excluding transaction records that are required to be retained by applicable laws and regulations). All account-related services will be terminated, and the account cannot be recovered once cancelled.
6. Right to Lodge Complaints and Submit Suggestions: Should you have any objections to or suggestions regarding the processing of your personal information, you may contact us via the contact methods specified in this Policy. We will initiate an investigation within 24 hours and provide a formal response with the handling result within 3 business days.
When you use third-party services embedded in our system (e.g., WeChat Pay, Alipay, map navigation, etc.), the third-party service providers may collect relevant information about you. The specific rules shall be subject to the privacy policies publicly posted by such third parties. We only provide necessary technical docking support for third-party services and shall not be liable for any information processing activities conducted by third-party service providers. You are advised to carefully read the third-party privacy policies before using their services. We will not share your personal information with any third parties such as advertising platforms or marketing agencies. Advertising displayed within our system is solely based on anonymized user profiles and is not linked to any personally identifiable information.
This Privacy Policy may be revised in response to changes in applicable laws and regulations, business development needs or technological upgrades. The revised policy will be posted in a prominent position on the service page of our system and shall take effect on the date of publication. Definition of Material Changes: Material changes include, but are not limited to, expansion of data collection purposes, modification of data sharing scope, adjustment of user rights, and material changes to security safeguards. Such changes must be reviewed and approved by the Company's Data Protection Committee.
Notification Methods: For material changes, we will notify you through dual channels to ensure your awareness of the revised content: Display on the boot screen of the AI Cooler (for a consecutive period of 3 days); Short message service (SMS) / email (to users who have voluntarily provided their contact information); System pop-up notifications.
Your continued use of our services shall constitute your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the revised content, you may choose to discontinue using our services and cancel your account.
Minors under the age of 18 shall use this service under the guardianship of their guardians; Guardians may contact our customer service to inquire about, correct, or delete a minor’s personal information. We will provide assistance upon verification of the guardian’s identity.
Dedicated Privacy Protection Department: We have established a Data Compliance Department responsible for handling user inquiries, complaints, and requests related to privacy, including information inquiry, correction, and deletion.

All content contained in or made available through any SandStar service, including but not limited to texts, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations and software, is the property of SandStar or its content suppliers and is protected under Chinese and international copyright laws. The compilation of all content contained in or made available through SandStar services constitutes the proprietary property of SandStar and is protected under Chinese and international copyright laws.
The trademarks, graphics, logos, headers, button icons, scripts and service names contained in or made available through any SandStar service are the trademarks or trade dress of SandStar in China and other countries. SandStar’s trademarks and trade dress shall not be associated with any non-SandStar products or services, used in any manner that is likely to cause customer confusion, or used in any way that disparages or discredits SandStar. All other trademarks appearing in any SandStar service that are not owned by SandStar are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to, or sponsored by SandStar.
One or more patents owned by SandStar apply to SandStar services as well as the features and services accessible through SandStar services. Certain SandStar services operate under license of one or more patents. Without the prior written permission of SandStar or the relevant right holders, you shall not reproduce, distribute, display, modify, adapt, compile, translate, lease, sell or otherwise exploit any of the aforementioned intellectual property-related content in any form. Failure to comply shall result in your assumption of corresponding legal liabilities.
All notices we send to you may be delivered via system announcements, email, short message service (SMS, to users who have voluntarily provided their mobile phone numbers), client push notifications, or other such means. Any such notice shall be deemed to have been duly served on you as of the date of dispatch. Any notice you send to us shall be delivered in accordance with the contact information specified on the service page. If there is any change to the contact information you have provided, you shall update it promptly. Otherwise, you shall bear sole responsibility for any failure in the service of notices arising from inaccurate contact information.
The formation, performance, and interpretation of this Agreement, as well as the resolution of any disputes arising in connection herewith, shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States.
In the event of any dispute between you and us concerning the execution, content, interpretation or performance of this Agreement and all its supplements and appendices, you may contact our customer service representatives via the hotline for negotiation. We shall make every reasonable effort to resolve such dispute for you. In case no settlement can be reached through negotiation, all disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement and all its supplements and appendices, whether based on contract or tort, shall be submitted to the people's court with jurisdiction over the place where Zhejiang Haibianli Network Technology Co., Ltd. is registered for litigation.
In the event of any dispute between you and a service provider (e.g., cabinet operators, third-party payment institutions) regarding the use of their services or other relevant matters in the course of using their services, such dispute shall be resolved in accordance with the method agreed in the separate agreement signed between you and such service provider. SandStar shall not assume any liability whatsoever.
